Western Province captain Kyle Verreynne has sent a strong message to the team as the CSA 4-Day Series resumes this week after a month break.
Salieg Nackerdien’s charges will travel to Gqeberha to face the Dafabet Warriors at St George's Park.
The match is set to start at 10am on Wednesday.
Their previous two meetings were in favour of the Gqeberha based side winning but Verreynne believes the team is working hard to come back alive in the Eastern cape.
"I think the message is pretty clear. We've won the CSA 1-Day competition, the T20 competition hasn't started yet and we're still in with a shot for the 4-Day campaign to win that trophy," said Verreynne.
"We obviously want to win three trophies this season. It's a very, very tall ask, but we're more than halfway through the season now and we're still sitting in a position where we can make the final and win the 4-Day competition.
"The motivation from us is there. The message is quite simple, let's just keep doing what we’ve been doing, focus on having fun and enjoying ourselves."
Province is sitting in fifth position in the standing with 72.5 points with two group games remaining.
Verreynne says the team is on the verge of reaching the standard it should and is supposed to be at as a professional unit.
"I think obviously, like we all know, we've been really good at Newlands this season, but our away form, especially in the four-day competition, hasn't probably been where it needs to be," he said.
"This week's away game will be a really good opportunity for us to right that wrong.
"It's pretty much a must-win two games for us, so it's important that we go to Port Elizabeth and put on a good display."
The team will be missing some key players in (David Bedingham, Mihlali Mpongwana, Eddie Moore and Dane Paterson) who are all on national duty with the Proteas.
However, Verreynne is confident the team has what it takes to fulfil the task at hand.
"I think as we saw in the One-Day Cup, it wasn't really an individual tournament.
"There were young guys that stood up throughout. And even in this 4-Day competition so far, we've had young guys stand up and do well.
"Guys coming into the team, making their debuts and performing straight away. It's always difficult when you're missing key players. They're obviously away on national duty, I feel like our squad depth is really good.
"The guys that are here are fully focused and ready to go out there and perform.
"I think from a confidence point of view, we feel in a really good space. And we've got what it takes to push for results in the next few games."
