SuperSport is pleased to announce that Your World of Champions has secured the broadcast rights for South Africa’s tour of Jamaica for the three-Test Margaret Beckford Sunshine Netball Series taking place in Kingston, starting on Sunday (SA time).

The SPAR Proteas finished 2024 strongly, ending the year as the No 1 ranked team in Africa. They now take on the No 3 ranked team in the world behind Australia and New Zealand in the Sunshine Girls. The matches in Jamaica will be played on January 19, 23 and 26 at the National Indoor Sports Centre in Kingston.

The series forms part of SuperSport's global-leading #HereForHer campaign aimed at promoting and celebrating women's sport as well as women in sport. The #HereForHer campaign kicked off during the 2023 Netball World Cup that was hosted in South Africa when SuperSport became the first-ever broadcaster in the world to deploy an all-female (120-member) production crew to broadcast an international tournament.
