KZN Inland fixtures moved

Cricket South Africa (CSA) was made aware of the concerns raised regarding the condition of the oval used by KZN Inland following their promotion to Division 1.

The well-being of our players and the integrity of the game are paramount, and we take such issues seriously.

In response to these concerns, CSA has decided to move KZN Inland's upcoming home fixtures to alternative venues.

This decision was made to ensure that matches continue to be played under the best possible conditions for both players and fans. We are committed to working closely with KZN Inland and relevant stakeholders to address and rectify the issues at the oval.

Pins and glass shards were left on the field following the KZN State of the Province address by premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube at the venue on 28 February.

Despite attempts by Tuskers players, coaches and ground staff to pick them all up, CSA has decided the field remains unfit for play.

Our goal is to ensure that the venue meets the high standards required for Division 1 competition and to prevent similar situations in the future.
