Key points

• Gibson-Park (Leinster Rugby) was the only player to score a hat-trick of tries in the Round of 16. He made 90 metres, beat five defenders, and made three clean breaks - all more than any other scrumhalf.

• Penaud (Union Bordeaux-Bègles) beat 13 Saracens defenders at the weekend. No player has beaten as many in a match in the last four seasons of the tournament.

• Elrigh Louw (Vodacom Bulls) made more post-contact metres than any other player in the Round of 16 (32). He also won three turnovers against Lyon - as many as any other forward.

• Levani Botia (Stade Rochelais) made three dominant tackles (second) and won three turnovers against the DHL Stormers.

• Evans (Harlequins) made more successful tackles than any other player in the Round of 16 (22), two of which were dominant. He also won a turnover against Glasgow Warriors.

• Stade Rochelais became the first visiting club to register an Investec Champions Cup victory in South Africa when they edged out the DHL Stormers

• If selected for Leinster Rugby’s quarter-final against Stade Rochelais, Cian Healy will set a new record of 111 tournament appearances having equalled Ronan O’Gara’s long-standing mark last weekend

• If selected for Stade Toulousain’s quarter-final against the Exeter Chiefs, Cyril Baille will make his 50th tournament appearance
